Mission: Square Holes worked with the Stadium Management Authority to guide the development of the Adelaide Oval. The mission was to “create a world class stadium in Adelaide.”
Journey: Snowballing research 2010-2013 including key influencer and corporate interviews, focus groups and surveys were used to support design and ticket price financial modelling. The initial research was based on an Australia-wide and overseas review of product offerings at other stadiums that may fit with the local market. Square Holes provided demand and price modeling to support corporate and broader strategic planning.
Impact: Sell out sales - Corporate Suites – 34 out of 34 Corporate Suites and Stadium Club [a new and unique offering at $4,250] - 1400 Stadium Club sold. From twinkle in the eye to $500M+ reality! Square Holes also played a strategic role in the general consumer insights including ticketing and other strategies. This is a major triumph given that the redevelopment was largely occuring during tight economic conditions and with this heightened pressure to justify Return on Investment.
