Real People: Evena
We believe that meaningful change can only come from understanding people and culture. And one of the ways we have decided to illustrate that on our new website is through the introduction of our ‘Real People’ photographic series.
Name: Evena
Location: Florence
Age: 23
What is something that made you feel joy recently?
This year is my last year finishing my master’s degree. I’ve done all the exams; I just have to finish my thesis and I’m pretty happy about it.
What is your pet peeve?
I’m a positive person, so I don’t get frustrated easily – but maybe when people tell lies.
What do you love about living in your city?
Art. I’m Italian and I’m here because I love art, especially the Uffizi Gallery.
What are you passionate about?
I study Chinese language. I really like Chinese culture.
Square Holes engaged local photographer Thomas McCammon to go out into the community and photograph individuals and locales, while learning about their stories.
Thomas recently travelled overseas to Italy, Spain, France and Greece where he took to the streets to meet with locals to provide a snapshot of their lives. The Real People series is intended as a small insight for our clients and readers into the ‘real people’ driving change.
