Real People: Rachel

We believe that meaningful change can only come from understanding people and culture. And one of the ways we have decided to illustrate that on our new website is through the introduction of our ‘Real People’ photographic series.

Name: Rachel
Location: Paris, France
Age: 33

What is something that made you feel joy recently?
Just now, when we had a coffee. It’s the little things like that, that make you happy. It’s cold, so having a hot coffee makes me happy.

What is your pet peeve?
People who are very rude.

What do you love about living in your city?
The culture and the fashion. How people dress here. I originally come from Singapore and there’s a lot of difference between the cities.

What are you passionate about?
Food. We come from a city where there is a large variety of food, so I really enjoy experiencing the food here.

Square Holes engaged local photographer Thomas McCammon to go out into the community and photograph individuals and locales, while learning about their stories.

Thomas recently travelled overseas to Italy, Spain, France and Greece where he took to the streets to meet with locals to provide a snapshot of their lives. The Real People series is intended as a small insight for our clients and readers into the ‘real people’ driving change.
